Make My Dreams Come True Becomes One of the Most Selected Shorts on FilmFreeway
Apparently, Make My Dreams Come True just snagged its fifth official selection on FilmFreeway, this time as a Semi-Finalist at the MIRADA CORTA SHORT FILM FESTIVAL—and no, I didn’t bribe a judge or smuggle tequila into the screening room (although… missed opportunity?). This puts our little short in the top tier of the most selected films on FilmFreeway, and I’m honestly floored. Honored. And maybe a little overwhelmed by the sudden surge of attention—but mostly, I’m dancing badly in my kitchen and pretending it’s part of the press tour.
Honestly, I’m stunned. And thrilled. And maybe a little sleep-deprived. Because the moment we got that fifth laurel, the universe cracked open and rained emails, DMs, distribution offers, awkward exes reaching out "just to say congrats" (sure, Karen)… and a surprising amount of interest in everything else we’ve got cooking at Ketchum, Killum & Wynn Studios.
But before I spiral into the chaos of what's next, allow me to hit the brakes and scream a massive THANK YOU to the insanely talented cast who made this story come alive:
- Pavel Kříž – The man, the myth, the scene-stealer. He brought depth, charisma, and just enough mystery to keep us all hooked-all in only one day on set.
- Tyson Arner – If charm had a face, it would be his. If you watch the film and don’t swoon at least once, check your pulse.
- Kendyl Twa – A natural on screen and a total force off camera.
- Ara Ding – Powerhouse performer. Gave us layers, heart, and one the best line in the film. You'll know it when you hear it!
- Jason Raaflaub – The glue guy. The silent sniper of sincerity. You da real MVP, Jason.
You all turned a simple little short into a globally recognized, award-winning juggernaut. I’m forever grateful… and possibly forever spoiled by this dream team.
